However, if you choose this option, you must first create an account with the ATO. Once you have created your account, you can file your return online.
To file your return by mail, you will need to download and print the form called the TFN Application for Assessment of Trust Income (NAT 9697). You will need to complete this form and mail it with all of the required documents to the ATO.
To file your return in person, visit a tax office and bring with you: Your completed SMSF Tax Return form (TFN Application for Assessment of Trust Income), all of your original receipts and documents, and proof of identity.
